A wonderful translucent package arrived in my mailbox. Inside was an amazing card made by artist Allicette Torres from New York. She writes, "Crater surface was found in trash, proclamation sheet is a used toilet seat cover, pen was found in street, paper with color marks (makes the saucer & beam of light) are scraps of test paper from the art store, the pushpins are held in place by old pencil erasers. Thank you, Allicette, for making this recycled card! I received a comment from Allicette re the "Proclamation." She translated it as: "Proclamation to Planet Earth. Since you are not Martians, you do not have the option of evacuating the planet if you destroy it." She also mentioned the translucent case was also a recycled case.
