Other Considerations
Consideration must be made to the expenses involved with shipping large, framed 2D works and large 3D works to an international venue and returning them to the U.S. and eventually to the artists.
- Have artists provide canvas based works that are unstretched and unframed. Display these works in a uniformly spaced grid or attached to a 50-100 foot "clothesline".
- Most galleries and museum spaces want only original art work included, but some might consider high-quality reproductions and prints that could, if the artists want to avoid return shipping expenses, be destroyed after the exhibition (to prevent unauthorized use of the artist's works)
